2026-2027 Academic Year Program
The Penn Program is expanding and has limited openings for 6-7 year olds (first and second grade). This project- and place-based program is nature and community centered; screen-free and human powered. Programming is highly collaborative and academically rigorous. The Penn is a great option for active, motivated, and curious children who are excited to learn. The program will meet Monday-Thursday from 9:00am-3:00pm.

Dates: The school year begins first week of September 2026 and runs through the first week of June 2027.
Location: Rochester, VT
Cost: Sliding scale, $600-$1200 per month. ​

2026 Joyful Learning Summer Camp
Join Penn Program director, 500-hour certified yoga instructor, and father, Andrew Fersch, for The Penn’s 2026 Joyful Learning Camp! Aimed at 5 - 7-year-olds, this summer day camp offers joyful mornings of arts & crafts, games, reading & writing, guest artists, and time outdoors swimming and hiking.

Dates: July 6-10, July 20-24, August 3-7 from 9:00am-3:00pm
Location: Rochester, VT
Cost: $1200 for the summer or $300 per week (scholarships available)​
